The FreeLinkChecker is a very nice tool. I would love to see a few features added that would make it even better:
 
1.) It would be nice if one could set a filter for the following msgs:  
 
   "To do: The link was not checked due to robots exclusion rules. Check the link manually"
 
I am getting this msg. for many pictures and java script files and it's just cluttering the result page.
 
2.) The "This may take some time if the document has many links to check." message IMHO is also superfluous and could be left out or be subject to filtering.
 
3.) Allow to have a list of links being read from a file (i.e. one URL per line) and to check all these in one go.
 
4.) And lastly: is one could automatically write the resulting content of the main window to a file and subsequently start a user-specifyable program or script this would allow to automatize link checking even more.
 
Currently I am always copy-pasting the entire result into my editor where I defined me a few macros to remove all the above mentioned messages, so that at the end I have a short-list of "actual" to-do's I have to look into.
